Set it up

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT Apps settings and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If you don't see it, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. Enter Bid Buddy as the name and paste the link above into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connection), then click Create.
  5. Turn on Bid Buddy from the chat box, then ask it to price a job.

Claude

  1. Open Claude's Connectors page.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the prefilled form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", name it Bid Buddy, and paste the link above.
  4. Turn the connector on from the chat box, then ask Claude to use Bid Buddy.

Claude Code

Run this one line in a terminal:

  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Bid Buddy is connected. Sign in from that menu when prompted.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use Bid Buddy.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a new remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it Bid Buddy and paste the link above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. Turn the connection on, then ask the assistant to use Bid Buddy.

Refresh after we ship updates

Assistants remember what Bid Buddy could do when you first connected. Refresh the connection to pick up new abilities.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Bid Buddy.
  2. Scroll to "Information" and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can't change an existing link — if the link above changed, delete the app and set it up again.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Bid Buddy.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select Bid Buddy.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. Claude can't change an existing link — if the link above changed, remove the connector and add it again.
  4. Ask Claude to use Bid Buddy.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest abilities.
  2. If the link changed, run claude mcp remove bid-buddy and run the install command again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Bid Buddy.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the Bid Buddy connection.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the link changed, paste the latest one from above.
  5. Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use Bid Buddy.
